How are you going to ask your bridesmaids?

If you're struggling to figure out how to ask your girls; you're not alone. We’re here to help with a few ideas. There are TONS of online resources that you can utilize. Pinterest, Blogs, and magazines are packed with DIY ideas. We understand that it’s a bit overwhelming. A balloon she pops? A basket with goodies? Like most aspects of your wedding planning; we suggest not overthinking it.

1. Think of something personal
Do the two of you love your Wednesday Wine Night? Or always grab sushi at the best spot in town? Take her on your own little date night. Have the waiter bring out a glass of wine that says, “be my bridesmaid?” on the glass or have the sushi chef ask her with the spicy mayo. It’s unique to the two of you and isn’t overly pricey.

2. Don’t go crazy over gifts
Pinterest is flooded with amazing baskets and boxes filled to the brim with goodies. It may cost only $20-$50 per box, but multiply that by 6-9 girls and it adds up. If you still want to do packages for those out of town maids, great! But, save the high priced items like pjs and robes for the big day.

3. Make it all about them
Wedding planning can get overwhelming and it will be all about you and your significant other until the big day. Show your girls how much their support means to you with some quality time. Reminisce on your friendship, and ask them if there are any ideas that they have for the big day. They do know you the best after all.

Whatever you choose, as long as you're true to your style and focus on how much she means to you, you'll be just fine.
