Did you know we are in “engagement season”? Engagement season, is actually a thing. It is not just you, if you are wondering why it seems like everyone is getting engaged right now on social media! Engagement season is the term used for the period throughout the year where there seems to be a spike in wedding proposals starting at around Thanksgiving and through mid February. Since the holidays are a time when people starting thinking about relationships and what they value in their life (as well as gift-giving), it makes sense that this would be the time that your significant other would consider the best time to ask for your hand in marriage. According to a survey done by WeddingWire, December is the top month for couples to get engaged. Christmas Day is the most popular day of the year for couples to get engaged, followed by Valentine's Day and Christmas Eve.
So what is the first thing to do after getting engaged? Most brides immediately get to wedding planning right after the proposal, specifically booking their venue and date and secondly (and our personal favorite), wedding dress shopping! Coming up this weekend, November 30th - December 2nd, we are excited to host the “Best of GALA” by Galia Lahav Trunk Show. Along with the newest collection, GALA VI, we will also be getting in some of the most popular from previous seasons as well. GALA by Galia Lahav is a collection that brings her famous signature bridal gowns within reach of every bride! Gown prices start at $4,700
The following weekend, December 7 - 9, we will be hosting the Atelier Pronovias Trunk Show. Gowns featured in this trunk show from Atelier Pronovias, the world-famous, Spanish bridal line, will come from their newest 2019 Collection. Gowns from this designer start at $2500.
The weekend of December 14 - 16, we have the pleasure of hosting the jaw-dropping gorgeous collections from Ines Di Santo. The newest collections from both her well-known couture, Ines Di Santo line, as well as her Ines by Ines Di Santo bridal line will be showcased ensuring there will be plenty of options for every bride with prices starting at $3500.
