FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We want you to have an exciting and memorable experience with us!  We are here to help you find the perfect wedding dress and we have included some helpful information.

When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?

We recommend that you begin shopping for your wedding dress 9 to 12 months before your wedding date to ensure that you are not rushing through the process.  You should purchase your dress 6 - 9 months before your wedding day.

Do I need an appointment?

An appointment is required on the weekends and is preferred on weekdays. We work by appointment to ensure that you have our full attention from the moment you walk through the door and plenty of time to explore our collection of bridal gowns. Please make your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. If you would like to come in the same day, please call to confirm availability. We also ask that you cancel any appointments 24 hours prior to you scheduled time.

How long is a bridal appointment?

Our bridal appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes, which should give you and your bridal stylist time to discuss the details of your wedding, your style and your vision for your look on your special day.

What is the price range of your gowns?

We have hand-selected a collection of gowns that are priced between $1,600 and $11,000. The price range will also depend on the style and features that you are looking for in a gown.

Before scheduling an appointment make sure you have determined a budget for your wedding gown. It’s important to know your budget and if there is any wiggle room before you try on gowns. For most brides, this is the most important factor in deciding which gowns to try on. Feel free to openly discuss your budget with your consultant, so they can maximize your options in meeting your needs.

When determining your budget for your wedding day look, consider what you are comfortable spending on your gown alone as well as factoring in the veil, accessories, and alterations. Our stylists will be completely respectful of your budget while showing you the options we have in your preferred price range.

What if I am getting married within 6 months or sooner?

While some styles from our designers may take up to 6 months to produce, there are some designs that can be ordered within a 6 month time frame and some that can be ordered with a rush fee from the designer. We also always have a selection of store samples that are discounted and being sold directly off the rack. *Please note that these gowns are generally sample size 10.

Who should I bring to the appointment?

Most brides shop the best with just a few key family members or friends. The intimacy of a smaller group allows the bride to be herself and feel supported by those who mean the most to her. Regardless of how many people you bring, make sure they are people who have your best interests in mind and will be encouraging during this process to help you make your decision to say yes to your dress!

Please let us know in advance if you plan on bringing more than 4 people with you so we can make appropriate accommodations.

What do I need to be prepared for my appointment?

Please come with an open mind and ready to say yes to the wedding dress of your dreams! We recommend getting to our shop on time or 5-10 minutes early. This way we can ensure you get the most out of your time with us.

Bring any inspiration for your wedding day look, so any images of styles that you would like to try on that you have found online, Pinterest boards or from bridal magazines.  Also, come wearing your favorite nude/white undergarments as this helps to avoid seeing distracting colors underneath the gowns.

Do you offer alterations?

Once your gown arrives, alterations will help make it truly fit your body perfectly. We partner with a seamstress that performs fittings in our store for our brides that has years of experience in bridal alterations and is extremely talented in the field.

Alterations usually will begin 6 to 8 weeks prior to your wedding date but we are able to accommodate shorter time frames.

You will typically have two to three fittings, but we prefer to allow time for any final adjustments that need to be made.

We do not quote alterations prices because an estimate or quote would depend on what work is need to requested by the bride on a particular gown. Our seamstress is a bridal specialist who is highly talented in her craft and will provide you with a personalized quote for her services.
